I can’t use soap !!! 

An awful lot of people tell us this, a lot of commercially made soap contains ingredients such as S.L.S. (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) and colours among other things which can be irritating to the skin. Our soap does not contain S.L.S and we do not colour our soap nor do we use parabens. We fragrance in the main with essential oils, however essential oils themselves contain naturally occurring allergens which in line with legislation are listed on our labels. We and many users of our soap have found that it is gentle to the skin and a pleasure to use.

I only use shower gel!

Try using a handmade soap for a couple of weeks and see the difference it makes to your skin. We have found the difference is immense, no more itching or dryness.

Are your soaps tested on animals?

No absolutely not, all of our soaps are tested by a chemist according to legislation and have an assessment certificate issued for each fragrance they do not use animals at all in these tests.

I’m a vegetarian do you use any animal fats?

No our entire range is made using only Olive Oil, Vegetable Oil, Coconut Oil and Babassu Oil, these are all plant oils. Our products are all suitable for vegetarians, however some products contain Goats Milk or Beeswax and may not suit Vegans.

Where do you make the soap?

We make our soap from scratch at home it is a precise procedure and great care has to be taken when making a batch of soap. It is made in small batches using plant oils, a lye solution, essential oils and  some have fresh botanicals added i.e. Mint and Lemon Balm from our garden.

Do you use Palm Oil?

We have created a range of soaps that do not use Palm Oil, this is our Babassu Range this oil is extracted  from the seeds of the Babassu which grows in Brazil, it is a non drying oil and may help with dry itchy skin.

I have eczema can I use your soap?

Whilst we cannot diagnose nor treat, we sell our soap to many who say it helps, in particular the Goats Milk & Olive Oil, one lady uses this on her baby and says it really helps keep her skin clear. Check out the Skin Soothers Range.

What do you wrap your soaps in?

Every bar of soap is wrapped by hand in sustainable papers we hope you like them they are in beautiful colours and present well they also make fabulous gifts. Gift packaging is available. Hot pink boxes tied with black ribbon or White gloss tied with iris blue or black ribbon.

What’s in the body butter?

Our butters  contain Aloe Butter,Shea Butter,Apricot Butter,Apricot Kernal Oil and Raspberry Seed Oil as the base. There are no chemicals or preservatives added we have found them to be light and moisturising to use five fabulous fragrances to choose from.
